This wall piece is entitled Swell. This is one of multiple biomorphic pieces that reference microbiology. Each one seems to take on a life of its own Swell - 2013 - Knit Yarn, Insulation Foam, Masonite - 32" x 28" x 13"

This installation was about the physicality and manipulation of space by the accumulation of small units. It was inspired by the large algae blooms on the coasts of China. These single-celled organisms multiply and collect to the point where they need to be removed by large machinery.
